We have been doing much research on the 1893 Chicago Harbor Fresnel Lens and would dearly love to have a copy of Diane Pedersen's great-grandfather's journal. Please let me know how I might obtain such a copy. Of course I would be willing to pay for the copy and shipping. I note there is much misinformation on the Internet concerning the lens. It is no longer in Chicago and the light characteristic has radically changed. BOB
