I have a 15ft, however, Ive been out on the big lakes numerous times with it and wouldnt be too worried to make the trip if the day called for <2 ft seas. My boat doesnt draft more than 2ft. If I stay to the north side of the island, is there any concern of hitting shoals?? I fear being without a prop out there! Id really like to make this trip on my small boat rather than go on the cruise... Thanks.
