Nottawasaga Island Light

One of six "Imperial Towers", this one marks the approach to to the port city of Collingwood, Ontario.

The 80-foot limestone tower sits on an island 2-1/2 miles off Collingwood.

A local group is attempting to save and restore the tower, which was struck by lightning in December, 2004, blowing off a section of the tower surface.
