Lions
Head Light
By Dave Wobser
This light is a 1983 replica of a 1911
breakwater light that is said to have been swept away in the Great Storm of 1913.
The 15-foot tall, square wood frame structure
is located in a park beside Georgian Bay, in the town of Lions Head. The town is
located on Lions Head Road (County Road-9) of highway-6 on the Bruce Peninsula. |
