Sisters Island Light
By
Located in the St. Lawrence
River, 12 miles northeast of Alexandria Bay, NY.
The light marks a small
island in the river. The name "Sisters Island" comes from the fact that the
original three small islands have been connect into one island by a
breakwater.
The light tower is integral
to the rear of the two-story cut stone dwelling.
